1. Structure of the Program
The broad scientific profile of the international and national NP&A community is reflected in the present Symposium, which is structured as follows.
a. 12 colloquium-style review talks will report the most promising scientific perspectives in the following scientific fields: Nuclear Physics Application (NA), Nuclear Structure and Reactions (NSR), and High Energy Nuclear Physics and Physics of Hadronic Interactions (HE). Internationally renowned researchers (40+5 min each) are invited to present 4 talks each in every subarea above.
b. 17 invited talks on the specific Brazilian research activities (6 of NA, 4 of LN, 7 of HN) as selected by the Organizing Committee, to report the present status internationally highly visible national and international cooperation, perspectives and proposals for the next decade (25+5 min).
c. 3 summary talks about talks-b above, with critical analysis of the problems and suggestions for possible solutions (40+5 min).
d. An over-all summary talk within the scope of INCT-FNA (40+5 min).
e. A poster session (2 hours) with evaluation of the best poster of students.
f. Panel Discussion to help establish a strategy and future directions of the INCT-FNA for the next decade, recommendations and proposals based on the talks above.
