General scope

The main goal of the INCT-FNA Symposium is to promote scientific collaboration between Brazilian physicists and foreign researchers from important scientific institutions. The meeting will gather experts from theory and experiment to discuss relevant topics of nuclear physics and applications. The meeting includes plenary sessions,
oral contributions and posters, with participants from the national and international nuclear physics, particle physics and applicationcommunities, including students, postdocs and academics.

Financial Support

The INCT-FNA is working to provide financial support for most of its members. In this line, the organizing committee will apply the following values:

For accommodations and meals:

  1. Graduate and Undergraduate students: up to R$ 1.100,00 (R$ 220,00 per day)
  2. Researches or Faculties: up to R$ 1.500,00 (R$ 300,00 per day)

For travel expenses:

  1. Graduate and Undergraduate students from São Paulo (city): up to R$ 320,00 (students from other cities of São Paulo state must contact the organizing committee in order to check if further financial support for travel expenses can be arranged)
  2. Researches and Faculties from:
    • São Paulo (state): up to R$800,00
  3. Graduate and Undergraduate students, Researches and Faculties from:
    • Bahia: up to R$1.400,00
    • Paraná: up to R$1.100,00
    • Santa Catarina: up to R$1.300,00
    • Rio Grande do Sul: up to R$2.000,00
    • Minas Gerais: up to R$900,00
    • Other States: up to R$2.500,00

IMPORTANT: Researches or Faculties who are recipients of grants will not receive the support for daily expenses, just for transportation. Students must present a contribution (either poster or talk format) in order to be granted financial support.
