Informes e Destaques

The registration and fee payment for the V International Conference on Nuclear Structure and Dynamics NSD2024 is now opened. You can apply for early registration until April 30th 2024. An overtax of 50€ will be applied to late registrations. Registration will close on May 15th 2024.

The NSD2024 will take place on May, 27-31th, 2024, at the Fundació Universitat Empresa ADEIT in Valencia, Spain. In the spirit of the NSD conference series, the NSD2024 will be devoted to the most recent experimental and theoretical advances in the field of nuclear structure and reactions with the aim to provide a broad discussion forum that will promote exchange of ideas and collaboration among researchers with experimental, theoretical and phenomenological background.

The upcoming NuPECC Long Range Plan 2024 Town Meeting will take place in Bucharest, Romania, from April 15th (noon) to 17th (noon), 2024. The venue will be the Marriott Hotel in the centre of Bucharest, located in Calea 13 Septembrie 90, Sector 5, 050726 Bucharest, Romania.

The aim of this meeting is to bring together the Nuclear Physics community in Europe to discuss the long-range perspectives in our field and decide how best to develop it in the next ten to fifteen years. A draft of the LRP2024 Report and its Recommendations will be presented and discussed during the meeting. It is available for review at the following link: https://indico.ph.tum.de/event/7629/contributions/8953/attachments/6020/8072/Full_LRP2024_Report_03042024_clean.pdf.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to learn about and discuss the strategic choices of the community for the future of Nuclear Physics research in Europe.

The nuclear physics community as a whole is welcome to attend.

NuPECC offers an opportunity to cover local expenses for up to 30 Early Career Researchers (up to 5 years after PhD).

Although we will not levy a conference fee, we urge you to register for the town meeting on the meeting website https://indico.ph.tum.de/event/7593/ at your earliest convenience, but not later than March 22, 2024 – this will greatly facilitate the organisation of the event.

Please note that no rooms have been pre-reserved, but you find a list of nearby hotels on the meeting website.

The Town Meeting will not be broadcast. Please register and attend the meeting.

Continue Lendo…

The Theoretical Nuclear Physics Group of the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, Croatia, seeks outstanding candidates for a two-year postdoctoral position. The successful candidate will be engaged in frontier research on nuclear structure, dynamics and astrophysically relevant nuclear processes based on relativistic nuclear energy density functional theory. Competitive salary will be offered, 3.625 EUR monthly, paid in total as fellowship. Continue Lendo…

Continue Lendo…
