The 11th edition of the Nuclear Physics in Astrophysics conference series will take place in
Dresden, Germany, from 15.-20.09.2024. The conference is organized under the auspices of
the Nuclear Physics Board of the European Physical Society.

The 52nd edition of the International Symposium on Multiparticle Dynamics will take place at the Károly Róbert Campus of MATE in Gyöngyös, Hungary.

The arrival date is August 20, 2023 (Sunday).

The scientific sessions will start in the morning of August 21, 2023 (Monday) and will be completed on August 25, Friday. On August 26, Saturday, ISMD 2023 will be followed by a post-conference tour (with science outreach presentations) to Eger and Tokaj, traditionally some of the best wine regions in Hungary.

The meeting will consist of plenary talks and posters, but all the accepted poster presentations will also be presented in plenary flash talks. In order to inspire discussions, the poster session will be coupled with wine tasting.

In-person participation is encouraged by traditional Hungarian hospitality. However, online participation is also welcomed from all over the world.

Registration is now open for the International Nuclear Physics Conference 2022 (INPC2022)
which will be held as a full in-person event at the Cape Town International Convention
Centre in Cape Town, South Africa 11 to 16 September 2022. The registration portal and
other useful information can be found at https://inpc2022.org.

The INPC series is overseen by the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP).
The year 2022 marks the centenary of IUPAP and INPC2022 will be celebrating this
anniversary. Given current events the IUPAP Executive Council has issued the following
statement:

“In our 100th anniversary this year, we note the critically important historical role that IUPAP
has always strived to play in bringing physicists together across political divides even during
our most difficult years in the past. IUPAP continues to embrace and promote scientific
collaboration across the world as a driver for peace.”

In light of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, as well as other armed conflicts around the
world, INPC2022 asks all participants to sign «an IUPAP declaration that they are not
actively supporting war and are committed to democratic principles for resolving
disagreements and conflicts» and display an IUPAP affiliation during the conference as part
of the celebration of the centenary of IUPAP.

The next European Conference on Few-Body Problems in Physics (EFB25) will be held in Mainz, Germany from July 30th to August 4th next year.
This will be the 25th edition of this conference series and will be hosted by the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and the Technical University Darmstadt.

Following tradition, EFB25 will be an interdisciplinary conference covering a very wide range of aspects of few-body problems in diverse fields of physics – both from the theoretical and experimental
points of views, including:

  • Nuclei and hypernuclei
  • Electroweak processes
  • Nuclear astrophysics
  • Cold atoms and quantum gases
  • Atoms and molecules
  • Few-body methods
  • Few-body aspects of many-body systems

The physics at the edge of the nuclear stability is a multifaceted domain ranging from the cleanest emergence of few-body physics from a set of many interacting nucleons to the complicated evolution of nuclear shells, clustering, evolution of nuclear superfluidity at the drip line as well as abrupt changes in reaction cross sections.
