Descrição:
We are very pleased to announce that the 53rd International Symposium on Multiparticle Dynamics (ISMD 2024) will be held from September 23 to 27, 2024, in Malargüe, Argentina.
This event belongs to the ISMD conference series, bringing together physicists from across particle, nuclear, and astrophysics for talks and discussions on all aspects and consequences of the strong nuclear force and complex final states. All scientific sessions at ISMD are in plenary session to encourage cross-talk between areas, organized into the following scientific tracks:
• Cosmic ray and astroparticle physics
• Multiparticle correlations and fluctuations
• Forward physics: Diffraction, Odderon and Pomeron
• Hadronic final states in high pT interactions
• Collectivity in high energy collisions: jets, flows, and other mechanisms
• Proton structure, small-x and large-x physics
• Hadronic issues in heavy-flavour physics
• Beyond Standard Model Physics and new developments in HEP
Poster sessions with prize and short talks are also foreseen.
The symposium will be held at the Thesaurus Convention Centre in Malargüe, home of the Pierre Auger Observatory. Malargüe is located 330 km from Mendoza Airport, which has direct flights from Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile and Sao Paulo. Special bus transfers from Mendoza Airport to Malargüe will be organized on September 22nd. Flights from Buenos Aires to San Rafael (185 km from Malargüe) are also available.
